
Isabel Breakey
Isabel Breakey is an accomplished soprano known for her
exciting coloratura and impassioned characterizations.
Among the many roles she has portrayed are Lucy in The Telephone, La Fée in Cendrillon, Carolina in Il Matrimonio Segreto, and Elle in La Voix Humaine. This past year she covered the Controller in Jonathan Dove’s Flight and workshopped the role of Marie in E. Shilts’ new opera Julie with Frost Opera Theater. Recently, she sung the role of Giant's Wife in an educational outreach production of Jack and the Beanstalk with Orchestra Miami, workshopped the role of Allison in A Nearer Mother, Evan Mack’s new opera, portrayed Sister Mary Robert in Sister Act with the Seminole Theatre, and performed both Eurydice in Offenbach’s Orpheus in the Underworld, and Cinderella in Sondheim's Into the Woods with the Queens Summer Vocal Institute.
